SNR
The Serial Number (SNR) within an IMEI is a unique 6-digit sequence (positions 9 through 14) that identifies the exact, individual hardware unit within a specific model batch.
While the first eight digits of the IMEI (the TAC) point to the general manufacturer and model, the SNR distinguishes your exact phone from millions of identical models rolling off the same assembly line. Manufacturers sequentially assign these digits during the assembly process.
